Urs II vd Dachswiese was produced in 2015 by a prominent breeder in Germany who consistently produces dogs with superior nose, pointing, and will to find as witnessed by the numerous accomplishments of his kennel including winning the Hegewald twice.  The breeding community both in Germany and here domestically in the United States have greatly benefited from his commitment to produce superior dogs.  Urs is no exception to quality expected from the Dachswiese kennel!  In fact, his mother Benja, is rumored to be his all time favorite hunting dog.   I have witnessed exceptional nose work from Urs on cagey, wild North Dakota upland game.  He is a powerful dog who possesses both the will to find AANNDD the manners to cautiously and successfully point it out for the shotgunner.  Perhaps his strongest suit is his cooperation; he is consistently wanting to accomplish my will.  He is a taller dog who has great form for effortless movement.  His hair is very protective and requires zero maintenance.   He is friendly with other dogs and my children.  His ahnentafel is filled with fabulous combinations; I cant wait to utilize his genetics within my kennel and invite you to utilize them at your's  as well!
